Owned by the Delon family of Château Leoville Las Cases family (one of the highlight wines of the EP tastings last month) Potensac benefits from not only a splendid terroir, but also all the technical expertise and skill at Leoville Las Cases, as it is made by the same team under Jean-Hubert Delon, including the famous winemaking consultant Eric Boissenot (who consults for Lafite, Marguax, Latour, Mouton Rothschild, Montrose, and many more of Bordeaux’s best Chateaux).
For those not wanting to pay Leoville Las Cases prices, this excellent Potensac is a no brainer, with the same meticulous care in the vineyard, the same excellent winemaking expertise. At just £20.50 per bottle IB, it is a bargain that promises pure drinking pleasure in the years to come. It would be a pity not to grab a case or two while you can...

Chateau Tour St Bonnet, Medoc 2016
We have just bought a small parcel of Chateau Tour Saint Bonnet 2016 at an amazingly low price . It one of the top Cru Bourgeoise in the Northern Medoc and from a great vintage that has now reached... maturity and is drinking beautifully.
A rich blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Melot aged in oak with concentrated red berry fruit flavours with a hint of cedarwood and spices. Soft tannins, a good mineral backbone and a lovely lingering finish. Cru Bourgeoise claret at its best Alc 13% Drink 2023 – 2028
