A glorious Pouilly-Fuissé from a single sloping plot of vines with a rich bedrock of limestone. Fermented equally in oak and temperature controlled stainless steel vats to give both concentration and complexity. Delicate aromas of white flowers and citrus, with intense fruit and notes of hazelnuts, almonds, vanilla and flint. It has a lovely lingering finish and is a fantastic example of this famous appellation. All this at under £20 a bottle for a superb white Burgundy.

One of the most trusted names in Burgundy, Louis Jadot make this excellent white Bourgogne with, unlike several of their wines, a good proportion of their own vineyard-grown fruit rather than bought... in grapes, from sites in the Côte d’Or & the Côte Chalonnaise.
Great structure, lively acidity on the finish, as well as touches of green apple, peach, white blossom and a little vanilla, thanks to part fermentation in wood, make this like a petit Meursault, in our opinion. A white burg bargain!
