In 1986 Château Beaumont was acquired by the current owners, Société Grands Millésimes de France, who also preside over St Julien’s Beychevelle. The Château also uses consultant Eric Boissenot, a renowned oenologist in Bordeaux, who among his other 150-odd clients, 40 are 1855 classed growths, including first-growth Châteaux Lafite, Latour, Margaux, and Mouton Rothschild, plus super-seconds such as Léoville Las Cases and Ducru-Beaucaillou.
Awarded the elevated classification of Cru Bourgeois Supérior in 2020, Beaumont continues to impress, year on year and in 2022, the team at Château Beaumont have produced a lovely wine, “well structured with creamy texture, ripe tannins, fine minerality and very good length”…”fresh”
