Cissac 2007

Chateau Cissac 2007 from the Haut-Médoc, is a wine that has likely reached an excellent stage of maturity, making it a wonderful choice for drinking now. Known for their traditional approach to... winemaking, Chateau Cissac produces wines that benefit from aging. The wine is a blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot and Petit Verdot. Matured bouquet with notes like blackberry, cedar, and tobacco on the pallet medium-bodied, showcasing a balance between fruitiness and earthy tones. "In 2007 Cissac were making wine which took time to mature and this will be close to its peak now. The vintage was a good but more expensive than the 2006 which got it an adverse reputation." Esme Johnstone
