An excellent South African sparkling wine from remowned wine-maker Grakham Beck, affectionately known as the ‘President’s Choice’ because it was served at both Nelson Mandela’s and Barack... Obama’s inaugurations. Made with the Méthode Cap Classique (identical to the traditional method used to make Champagne) and a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Great value for all of us who love the taste of Champagne – but not the price. Fresh but creamy. Full of lime and citrus flavours – it’s got a lovely brioche richness from its second fermentation in the bottle.

With just the right amount of bubbles it is rich in flavour with a... hint of nuttiness and an excellent finish. The Alcohol is 12% so you can drink lots or it and it is great value for money. This is no ordinary champagne – the wait was worth it
